BIIC – Track
We expect a participant to undergo the following tracks/ phases:
The ideational phase with affiliation to any of the departments or centres identified by BIIC (The track includes the idea phase, or the research and development phase).
The prototype phase and assessing the feasibility of the product as a start-up and its potential market.
The entrepreneurial phase that involves designing an action plan to bring the product or service to market through company formation and launch, establishing sustainable legal, operational, marketing and legal structures for the business launch.
Participants can join the programme at any of the stages/ tracks and will have access to office space and facilities of BIIC/ and the Departments they are attached to.
The process begins with submissions of innovation proposals by innovators for consideration following set criteria. A panel of experts meets every three months. It will evaluate new applications and select those that meet the set criteria.
Applicants must be currently students of Mahatma Gandhi University or
Applicants must have graduated from the Departments / affiliated colleges / formerly Engineering colleges affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University within the last three years.
Applicant must already have an idea / product / service that they want to develop further as a business start-up
Applicants must submit their proposal in a prescribed format.
