Youtube server down: Surely you have heard about the fall of Instagram, the fall of Facebook. Even you would have heard about the fall of Google Chrome. But for the first time, I would hear that YouTube was not working. Users are reporting issues with YouTube after it went down this afternoon. Some users cannot access the website and others cannot watch videos. The detector that captures the motion of videos played on YouTube detected a large number of reports that were down on YouTube. This created great news for all YouTubers. It is said that there were more than 22,000 reports of YouTube being down due to videos not playing.

A quick look at YouTube’s status page suggests that the website was having trouble loading some pages at the time. People were facing errors like 400 and 429 causing users to report them. Seeing such a large increase in reports made officials a bit uneasy and they acted accordingly.

Officials released a statement that said, “Our team is working hard to stop these issues and get YouTube back up and running. Thank you for your patience.” To confirm the status of YouTube, users turned to the help of Twitter to get confirmation. A lot of tweets were made in just a few minutes regarding YouTube being either officially down or something else going on. Twitter trend #YoutubeDown.

According to users, YouTube was down for only a few minutes and after a massive report, it was back to normal within a few minutes. But people who are facing problems watching the videos online reported that it took them a long time to get back to normal.
