Kelli Giddish, who plays Amanda Rollins on the NBC crime drama, played a major role on the series for 12 years. However, now she has come the time to say goodbye to her at the SVU. Kelli Giddish’s journey with the NBC crime drama Law & Order: SVU began when she was in her early 20s. She began playing the role of Amanda Rollins in the 13th season of the series which came in the year 2011. After spending 12 long years with the SVU family, she is now retiring from the series.

However, after leaving the NBC drama, she had had many rumors as to why she left the series. To clarify that, she recently gave a statement about it. She though she is proud of her journey on the show so far. However, that was bound to stop here, unfortunately.

According to sources, it turned out that Kelli Giddish’s departure from Law & Order: SVU was also not the choice of Kelli and showrunner David Graziano. The decision was not something planned by them but it happened. Also, salary negotiations and her role on the show for the future didn’t go far enough, ultimately giving Kelli a way out.

However, Graziano was targeted by anyone on social media for this. Post in which he said that he appreciates how Kelli accepted the decision. Although he said that he is sad that she is leaving. However, he said that he would be lucky to write for her again.

Kelli Giddish had an amazing time with the Law & Order Family: SVU. Their journey together lasted 12 years. She post that she finally she now she has to get off the show. However, to clear the clouds surrounding her departure, she recently made a statement.

In his statement, he said that he is leaving Law & Order: SVU. He recalled his journey so far playing Rollins, which he believes was the best role on television. Furthermore, she also said that she is thankful that her adult life has had Rollins by her side.
