Who’s coming to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘La Vista’?
The View is certainly here for its 25th series on ABC. The show will feature four co-hosts and a rotation of guest co-hosts to kick off the show. Previous co-hosts will also rejoin the hot topic table for Throwback Fridays. Additionally, ABC Digital will release podcast episodes. This will reflect the rich legacy of the series, in honor of this year’s anniversary.

It’s hard to believe that 25 years have passed. We have many plans to commemorate the amazing foundation of Barbara Walters. I can’t think of any other way to kick off that occasion than by inviting the co-hosts. It’s great to invite them to the famous View counter and re-introduce them to a real crowd.
We certainly have big plans to commemorate this milestone throughout the season. We will be welcoming all of our famous cast of previous View co-hosts to return as guests. Also, we’ll be taking some time to choose our next official co-host to round out the team.
On what it calls Flashback Fridays, The View wants to bring back past hosts, including Star Jones. Jones will rejoin Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines as regular members of the roundtable, which has just said goodbye to Meghan McCain. After leaving Fox News in 2017, McCain joined The View as the show’s sole right-hand commentator.
Political analyst Ana Navarro will also return as a recurring co-host this season.
The View, ABC’s midday chat show, will premiere its 25th anniversary edition on Tuesday, September 7. Therefore, for debut week, renowned former Utah congresswoman Mia Love will appear as a co-host.
Following Love’s visit, The View will have many additional celebrity co-hosts throughout the series. Therefore, this continues as the search for an official co-host continues.
For the first time ever, The View finished season 24 as one of the most watched chat shows. Consequently, leading to placing first in homes and viewers among daytime broadcasts. This was also the best in independent chat shows and broadcast news shows.
