Who will host the new season of Jeopardy!?

Danger!’ Hosting has been the talk of the town since the death of Alex Trebek and the scandal of Mike Richards, who would replace Trebek at the coveted concert.

According to multiple sources, Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings would go on to share hosting duties for the game show’s upcoming 39th season.
It’s been a race for producers to find Alex Trebek’s replacement and it seems that Bialik and Jennings are ‘it’.
In case you didn’t know, the beloved host of Jeopardy! Alex Trebek lost his life to pancreatic cancer in November 2020 at the age of 80.
Regardless, the duo were among the initial rotating lineup of guest hosts after Mike Richards’ abrupt departure from Jeopardy!
Bialik and Jennings served as full-time hosts for the remainder of season 38. Additionally, the two seem to work well, and their pairing was well received by the audience.
Additionally, the syndicated trivia show recently received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Game Show. This marks the third consecutive victory of the series.

Negotiations for Bialik have focused more on her availability dates, as she will appear on the new season of Fox’s Call Me Kat. The 46-year-old actress also serves as an executive producer on the show.
Additionally, Bialik is expected to host the game show Celebrity Jeopardy! of ABC. Executive Michael Davies produces Jeopardy! as well as Celebrity Jeopardy!
More on the Mike Richards controversy
It was announced that Mike Richards, the then executive producer, would replace the late host Alex Trebek after a months-long search on August 11, 2021.
Shortly afterward, however, news surfaced of Richards’ involvement in multiple sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits while he was a producer on The Price Is Right.
The matter escalated minutely, following a report by Claire McNear of The Ringer.
In the article, McNear details Richards’ offensive and demeaning comments on a now-defunct podcast called The Randumb Show.
The report further prompted the Anti-Defamation League to request an investigation against Richards.
Also, within nine days of being appointed to the coveted job, Richards officially stepped down from the role of host of Jeopardy!
Richards claimed that it had become “too big a distraction and not the right move for the show”.
New episodes of Jeopardy! Season 39 will be available to stream starting September 12, 2022.
