What happened to Trevor Strand? Black Dahlia Murder singer dies at 41

The death of Trevor Strnad, according to the Michigan group, has left them devastated. They claimed that it was a musical encyclopedia that everyone loved. Brandon Ellis, the band’s lead guitarist, described Trevor as “one of the most fascinating and fun people on the planet.” Trevor was also described by Ellis as his biggest supporter and lyricist.
He was also honored by the who’s who of metal music. Trivium’s Matt Heafy described him as a “contemporary metal icon”. Machine Head’s Robb Flynn pointed out how wonderful he was and mentioned that Trevor Strnad appeared on his show about ten months ago and expressed his struggle with depression.

When was the Black Dahlia Murder Band established?
The Black Dahlia Murder gang was formed in the year 2000 and is named after the unsolved murder of the brilliant and ambitious actress Elizabeth Short. Judas Priest, Pantera and Metallica have influenced them. After releasing several independent EPs in 2003, they signed with Metal Blade Records. In 2020, they released Verminous, a song that portrayed metal fans as carriers of a cultural plague.

Brian Eschbach and Trevor were the only members of Black Dahlia Murder who remained constant. “Ritual”, his most successful album, reached number 31 on the US Billboard chart.

Trevor Thread he was a big fan of fantasy and horror movies and found metal and horror to be a good way to release bad energy. However, Trevor admitted that being the only metal fan in his teenage group was alienating. In a recent interview, he stated, “I want my 40th to be wonderful,” as well as his wish for The Black Dahlia Murder to live another 20 years.
The Black Dahlia Murder is one of the first death metal bands I ever heard and really a band that changed the way I looked at heavy music at a very young age.
