According to Dow’s son Christopher, his father may be nearing the end of his life. “This is a challenging time. He is still alive, but he is nearing the end. Hospice care comes with it,” he said. Dow has directed episodes of such well-known series as “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Coach” and “Harry and the Hendersons,” in addition to his role as Beaver on “Leave It to Beaver.”
