What happened to Chrissy Powell? Missing woman found dead in her car

According to police records, Chrissy Powell was discovered dead inside her car on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in San Antonio. More than two weeks after she disappeared while she was on her way to work, her body was discovered.
The mother of two allegedly left her home in San Antonio in a hurry on July 5 because she was late for work. However, she never made it to her office, which was fifteen minutes from her house. The next day, her mother filed a missing person report. Since Powell had left her phone at home, no one could reach her.
At around 6:45 p.m. Saturday, the 39-year-old woman’s body was discovered in the front passenger seat of her 2020 Nissan Rogue vehicle.
In the parking lot of the San Antonio Huebner Oka Center, a security officer saw his vehicle. The car, according to him, had been there for a week. He hadn’t noticed anything unusual until there was a “bad smell” while the car windows were closed.
Powell’s bag and identification papers, according to police, were in his possession. According to the San Antonio Police Department, Christina Powell’s body had no visible evidence of exterior damage. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death for Christina Powell.
Chrissy Powell: Who was she? Friends and family of Texas mom are devastated by her mysterious death
The eldest son and mother of paralegal Christina Powell, 39, reside in Texas. She was hired by Sanchez and Wilson, a San Antonio law firm. On June 27, Powell began working there on a temporary basis; however, a few days later, she received an offer for a full-time position.
Powell was “punctual and hard-working,” according to Mark Sanchez, managing partner of Sanchez and Wilson. He added:
During that brief period, “she never came to work in any role other than wanting to work and being ready to work.”
Powell’s mother thought she was a dedicated mother who would not purposely abandon her children at the same time. Her friends and family considered her a kind and intelligent lady.
During his last conversation with his daughter, Mobley mentioned the following:
This is the last time anyone has seen Chrissy Powell, a mother and paralegal in Texas who ran off because she was late for work. Authorities say she could be in danger. I heard from her close friend and her employer on #NewsNationPrime

“We didn’t really have long discussions. Basically, she was saying, “Good morning.” She told me that she was running late. Later, when she was on her way to work, I advised her to be careful. I’m sure I also said, “I love you.”
It’s also important to note that despite Powell’s strained relationship with the father of her children, her ex-boyfriend, police did not consider him a person of interest.
One of Christina Powell’s co-workers decided to visit her at her Red Hill Place residence on July 5 after she didn’t show up for work that day. But it turned out that Christina had actually left the house for the purpose of going to work, as her co-worker discovered.
Powell’s death is the subject of ongoing investigations.
