50 Cent took over the city of Houston for his annual Tycoon Weekend on Saturday, August 27. However, it appears that Trae Tha Truth and Z-Ro got into trouble offsite.

Although it’s no secret that Trae Tha Truth and Z-Ro share a strained relationship, their friendship seems non-existent in a recently released clip.

Footage shows Z-Ro being repeatedly assaulted by Trae Tha Truth and his team while lying on the ground in a fetal position.

Additionally, the video was first shared by a Twitter user named @T_Nealy91 on Monday, August 29.

Later in the clip, we see Z-Ro standing up and raising his fists to attack his assailant. During that time, Trae Tha Truth and a few others step forward to issue verbal threats to Z-Ro.

Fortunately, the sheriff arrived just in time to break up the fight.

Z-Ro talks about the fight with Trae Tha Truth

Z-Ro, whose real name is Joseph Wayne McVey IV, sat down with TMZ following his messy altercation with Trae Tha Truth and his crew.

He shared his side of the story stating that he was ambushed by Trae’s team after the 42-year-old rapper asked to speak to him.

The ‘I Can’t Leave Drank Alone’ artist said: ‘I was at the 50th benefit dinner on Saturday and some fans asked me for a photo. Then I saw Trae approaching. She asked me if she could greet me. I turned around to see who she was talking to and she asked if she could follow him to the side of a speeding bus.

He continued: ‘I’m thinking that [are about] talk like 2 grown men but i got punched. When that happened…several other guys (who I have no affiliation with) joined in.’

The 45-year-old rapper then pointed out that the leaked images don’t reveal the full truth behind their fight.

He said: ‘The video circulating is a part of what happened. The beginning is not shown, where I was asked to come! At the end of the day, I came to the One Deep event to meet my artist Lolita Monreaux. So we could support 50.’
