Virgin River season 4: premiere date, cast, trailer and everything we know so far

Netflix’s Virgin River is what might be compared to a warm hug: with small-town features reminiscent of Gilmore Girls and Friday Night Lights and its extraordinary cast of characters, Virgin River is the ideal, comfortable show for fun.
Netflix doesn’t share viewing information, Virgin River is famous enough that Netflix quietly renewed it for season four even before it released Virgin River Season 3 on July 9, 2021. Virgin River Season Four is scheduled to be released a year after the third, with the show’s fifth season filming in late spring.
Virgin River immediately gained a monster following as fans followed the story of the nurse practitioner who leaves Los Angeles in search of a fresh start and a quiet place to settle down. While the charming town of Virgin River appears to be serene, at its core lies a confusing trap of unassuming small-town drama. Here’s everything we know so far about season 4.
Virgin River Season 4 Release Date
Virgin River season 4 appears on Netflix on July 20 in both the US and UK. Season 4 will include 12 one-hour episodes. Netflix renewed Virgin River for seasons 4 and 5 in September 2021, but there is no release date for Virgin River season 5 after the filming start date was pushed back several times.
Annette O’Toole spoke to PureWow in early July and said that she was going to start work on Season 5. This suggests that Season 5 will be ready in mid-2023.
Virgin River Trailer
In fact, Netflix released a trailer for the fourth season of Virgin River last week. The trailer’s main focus is on Jack and Mel as they struggle with whether Jack or Mel’s late husband, Mark (Daniel Gillies), is the father.
The trailer shows that Jack is starting to drink too many, leaving Mel stressed about her future. Trying to persuade him to stop, she tells him, ‘I don’t want you to do this for me, I want you to do this for you.’
To emit
The main cast from the third season, including Breckenridge and Henderson, will return for the fourth season of Virgin River. Sadly, cheerleader Lynda Boyd won’t be cast as her character Lilly, as the character was killed off, but Annette O’Toole will return as Hope after she was unable to return to the set for season three due to the pandemic.
There will also be two or three new faces resembling artists Kai Bradbury and Mark Ghanimé. Kai will play the role of Doc’s (Tim Matheson) long-lost grandson Denny Cutler, who has a dark secret, while Ghanimé will play Dr. Cameron Kayek, the clinic’s new doctor.
official synopsis
Despite not knowing if her child belongs to her late spouse, Mark or Jack, Mel begins Season 4 with a feeling of good faith. She longed to be a mother for quite some time and her dream is one step closer to becoming a reality. While Jack feels supported and excited, the question of fatherhood continues to preoccupy him. Complicating matters is the arrival of a handsome new doctor, who is in the market to start his own family.
Hope is still recovering from her car accident and the lingering psychological effects of her brain injury will have significant ramifications for both her and Doc. Brie, intent on proving the innocence of the man she loves, unexpectedly ends up in a closer relationship with Mike and one step closer to Calvin’s violent criminal network. In fact, even as Preacher forges another romantic connection, he can’t resist holding out hope of reuniting with Christopher and Paige.
