Tim Donnelly, ‘Emergency!’ Actor dies at 77

Tim Donnelly, particularly known for his role as the entertaining firefighter Chet Kelly on Emergency! from NBC. throughout the 1970s, he has died. He was certainly 77 years old at the time.

The Los Angeles County Fire Museum verified the tragedy in a memorial on its Facebook account. However, the manner of death is not revealed.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the untimely death of our friend Tim Donnelly this weekend. Who was Tim Donnelly?

Donnelly was born on September 3, 1944. He made his film debut in Don Siegel’s 1957 crime thriller Baby Face Nelson. He continues to have a 27-year presence on the big screen. However, between 1972 and 1977, he appeared in all six seasons of the action comedy Emergency!, which followed the crews of Los Angeles County Fire Station 51.

Additionally, with special guest appearances on The Legend of Jesse James, The Virginian, the original Hawaii, BK and the Bear, Enos, Vega$, and CHiPs, the artist continued to appear on Dragnet 1967 and Project UFO. His last performance was in a 1984 episode of The A-Team.

Donnelly also appeared in Christian Nyby’s World War II drama First to Fight. Stanley Kramer’s The Secret of Santa Vittoria, his brother Dennis Donnelly’s horror film The Toolbox Murders, and Robert S. Fiveson’s genre-bending The Clonus Horror on the big screen.

Donnelly is accompanied by his brother Dennis, Kathleen and daughter Ashley, and two grandchildren. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Museum. However, there are no preparations for a monument so far.
