The Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight is not happening, why?

Jake Paul’s boxing training partner, Anthony Taylor, doesn’t think the YouTuber will face Mike Tyson in the future. A fight with Canelo, on the other hand, he believes would be “competitive.”
Jake Paul will return to the ring on August 12 after putting his own boxing career on hold to promote the super fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer has yet to name his opponent. But there have been numerous rumors and speculations about who he will be facing. Former heavyweight champion and boxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson has been mentioned as one of the most intriguing names. Especially since the 55-year-old has declared that he would accept the match.
While Tyson is unlikely to be in shape to fight in August. The potential of him and Jake competing in the future has been discussed. However, others in Jake’s camp are skeptical.

So far in his boxing career, Jake Paul has silenced all his detractors.
One of Jake’s regular sparring partners and someone who has fought on his fight cards, Anthony ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor, believes the mutual respect between Jake and ‘Iron’ Mike will prevent him.
“I don’t think Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight just because they’re good friends.” They have too much respect for each other to get into a fight,” Taylor told MyBettingSites. “Maybe I’m missing something, maybe they’re going to fight, but I don’t see Mike going in there with Jake any time soon, and I’d be surprised.”

Aside from Tyson, the cruiserweight believes Jake could be “competitive” with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in a few years, considering the skills he’s already shown.
Tyson has already expressed interest in fighting Jake, due to the potential financial rewards. He isn’t sure if the social media sensation will be able to stay out of trouble during the buildup to the fight.
It will be interesting to see who Jake faces this summer. If he wins, it will be much more interesting to see who he targets next.
