Tesla is filing to become an electricity provider in Texas, is Tesla ready for it?

Tesla is now ready to provide electricity to Texas. The company wants to sell electricity directly to Texans. This month the company submitted a request to the town’s Public Unity Commission. The application is supposedly for the large battery, built by Tesla in Angleton, Texas (around the city of Houston). The large battery will add a 100-megawatt energy storage system to the power grid. The reports were first published in Texas Monthly. The new company has a new name from Tesla, called Tesla Energy Ventures.

Tesla has created many energy storage systems around the world. The countries that have energy storage systems are Australia, South Australia, America and Europe. The company has not yet started as a retail energy provider. The generation, consumption and storage of energy by other companies will be the responsibility of Big Batteries. The February 2020 snowfall in Texas left millions of locals stranded without water or electricity for many days. Some blamed the intermittent nature of renewable energy, but the state uses a large amount of fossil fuels to generate Electricity

Regulators and energy departments, legislators, and the Public Utilities Commission were later found to be corrupt. Companies and regulators ignored the repair of the Texas power grid. After many blackouts, companies have requested weatherproof installations, turbines, and other equipment to generate adequate power for the entire area.

Texas Power Grid is not in contact with the rest of the US, so there was no help available to the state. Texas has successfully granted the authority to the Electric Reliability Council Of Texas (ERCOT). ERCOT provides electricity to more than 25 million homes in Texas. When Elon Musk

saw the continuing blackouts, he wrote to ERCOT.

Musk is not assigned as president of Tesla Energy Ventures, Ana Stewart, is the current president of the energy company. Regulatory Credit Trading is Ana Stewart. Ana has been working at Tesla since 2015. In addition, Tesla had a net income of $104 million in September 2020. Electric cars and solar panels are Tesla’s best-selling items.

Ana Stewart is more like a lucky charm for the company than Tesla. She has earned $3.8 billion in regulatory credits since 2017. Tesla Energy Venture also said that she will work with Engie Energy Marketing.
