Sharna Burgess and Lindsay Arnold announce their departure from DWTS ahead of season 31

Sadly, Sharna Burgess and Lindsay Arnold will not be competing as professionals on Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars.

Sharna Burgess will not return for DWTS season 31 after welcoming her son
Sharna Burgess took to her Instagram account to reveal that she has decided to leave Dancing with the Stars as the show prepares for its next season.
She shared on her Instagram story: ‘Hi, I have some news I have to tell you guys about because I keep getting a lot of DMs about it.
Burgess continued, “After long conversations and a lot of thinking and really trying to sit down with what was right…I made the really hard decision not to do this season of Dancing With the Stars. A list has been released saying it would be a professional and I will not be.
The 37-year-old Australian ballroom dancer welcomed her first child, son Zane, on June 28. She shares it with her boyfriend Brian Austin Green.
She later shared that she is not ready to stay away from her two-month-old baby just yet.
Burgess wrote, “I’m 100% fit with my body, I feel fit, I feel strong, I’m so ready to dance.” I’m about to go to the gym right now.
He further shared, “Let’s talk about what that means and how I can be a part of [DWTS]. He wasn’t prepared to spend a minimum of 10 hours a day away from Zane.’
Lindsay Arnold Opens Up About Leaving DWTS Season 31
Lindsay Arnold also broke the news on social media. She shared a picture of herself with her husband, Samuel Lightner Cusick, and her one-year-old daughter, Sage.
The 28-year-old mom married her high school sweetheart in 2015.
Arnold admitted that he is deciding not to participate in the reality show because he wants to spend more time with his family and probably expand it.
She wrote: “I wanted everyone to know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing with the Stars this season.”
The professional dancer added: ‘As many of you know, my family and I live in UT. To do DWTS, I have to move my daughter Sage to Los Angeles and leave behind my husband Sam who works full time here in Utah.’
