Ricky Martin’s nephew accused him of alleged incest and abuse

Singer Ricky Martin was recently accused of incest and alleged abuse by his 21-year-old nephew.
Here is everything you need to know.
Ricky Martin accused of incest and abuse
Ricky Martin received a restraining order related to domestic violence in Puerto Rica earlier this month.
The victim’s identity was withheld at the time. However, according to a Spanish media outlet, the brother of the Marca singer, Eric, identified the alleged victim as Martin’s 21-year-old nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sánchez.
Dennis is the son of Latin pop star Vanessa Martin’s sister.
Puerto Rican publication El Vocero reported that Dennis claimed to be in a seven-month relationship with Martin.
The young man accused the musician María of “exercising physical and psychological attacks” during their relationship. He also revealed that her partner broke up about two months ago.
Dennis also claimed the married father of four “didn’t take their breakup well” and wandered near his house at least three times.

Ricky Martin denies the accusations
Ricky Martin’s attorney denied all of the alleged claims while speaking with TMZ on Friday.
The lawyer said: ‘Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with deep mental health issues. Ricky Martin, of course, has never been, and never will be, involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew.”
The representative went on to say that Martin and his legal team expect the case to be dismissed.
They mentioned: ‘The idea is not only false, but also disgusting. We all hope that this man will receive the help that he so desperately needs. But above all, we hope that this horrible case will be dismissed as soon as a judge examines the facts.’
Martin himself took to Twitter to declare that the restraining order issued against him was based on “completely false accusations.”
The singer wrote in his tweet: “The protection order issued against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond in the judicial process with the facts and dignity that characterize me.”
The singer’s attorney echoed similar sentiments while being interviewed by The New York Post.
They argued: ‘The allegations against Ricky Martin that led to a protection order are completely false and fabricated. We are very confident that when the facts come to light in this matter, our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated.’
Ricky Martin was last caught filming his new AppleTV+ miniseries in Los Angeles.
