Pete Davidson took the stage to present the award for Best Comedy Series on September 12 during the 2022 Emmy Awards.
While the 28-year-old star successfully delivered a controversial freedom speech, her understated outfit, on the other hand, caught people’s attention.
Davidson was wearing a gray Dickies “Eisenhower” jacket that costs approximately $60. He paired them with gray pants and white sunglasses.
However, social media users claim that his look was suspiciously identical to what Kanye West wore in the past.
In 2019, the 45-year-old rapper was captured wearing the same jacket but in black while accompanying Kim Kardashian to the Met Gala with the song “Camp”.
Additionally, West was reportedly deliberately sporting the understated gaze as he tried to draw attention away from himself and his then-wife. The Skims founder looked stunning in a Thierry Mugler gown that looked wet.
Meanwhile, the former Saturday Night Live host revealed that he did not show up for the high-profile ceremony rehearsal.
He said: ‘This mic is short as hell. I didn’t come to rehearsal. It’s funny because this is like SNL because Kenan is doing all the work. I refuse to say what the writers want.
