Is Overwatch 2 free to play?

Blizzard has informed us that Overwatch 2 will feature a free-to-play format. This is possibly the company’s latest strategy to attract more players.

Also, players are not required to pay a single penny in order to play these popular Battle Royales. However, you can unlock the premium version of their battle passes. It usually costs around £10.

In the meantime, it’s important to note that this isn’t the full release of Overwatch 2, as it’s only considered PvP. Although a specific release date for the story mode has yet to be confirmed, the game’s PvE is expected to launch in 2023.
