Nikita Dragun faces accusations of theft
Nikita Dragun is in the middle of another controversy. Scandal Beauty has recently come forward to call out the artist for copying her ideas.
The brand shared a video on its social media sites to show the uncanny resemblance between its products and those that Dragun sells.
Furthermore, the video consisted of the comparison of the two products side by side. The main motive of the organization seems to show users that the nails promoted by Dragun are of inferior quality compared to the nails sold by Scandal Beauty.
The indie brand described the video with the caption, “We had to bring Us VS Them back for this one lol.”
The video has quickly racked up over 22k views and has been liked by users over 1.9k times.
Nikita Dragun accused of stealing product ideas from Scandal Beauty
Nikita Dragun announced his upcoming collaboration with Makartt. They teamed up to launch their new press studs.
A snippet of his campaign video showed Dragun flaunting his long claws.
However, one of the nails in the clip appears to bear a striking resemblance to the Scandal Beauty nail set.
While Makartt nails sell for $15 for a set of 24 nails, Scandal Beauty is priced at $27 for 30 nails.
Despite the cheaper rate, the independent brand revealed that Makartt’s nails were of lower quality compared to her nails.

The struggles of being an independent brand. It took us a year to get our hands on the perfect component. One that made us stand out and align with our vision. Although it is possible @NikitaDragun you have never seen our products, because of your platform, we will look like the imitation.ЁЯШФ pic.twitter.com/FE7mk0m16W
