Mitchell Tenpenny got engaged to Meghan Patrick, shows off her engagement ring on Instagram

Country star Mitchell Tenpenny and his girlfriend Meghan Patrick recently got engaged.

Meghan, who is also a singer-songwriter, posted photos of Mitchell proposing to her at Losers Bar and Grill in Nashville. Not just any bar, Mitchell and Meghan first met at this bar.

Meghan posted a series of photos on Instagram showing off her engagement ring, captioning it: “4 years ago I walked into the back room of the @Losersoriginal bar, straight out of the tree stand in all camouflage…that was the first time Mitchell and I looked at each other, and tonight, I walked in and he asked me a question.”

The singer also added that the place could not be more perfect and it was obviously a yes.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Mitchell Tenpenny revealed that he had wanted to propose for a long time and now that their families were in Nashville, the time and place were perfect.

Mitchell Tenpenny also revealed that before proposing he asked Meghan’s father for his blessings.

In the same interview, Meghan said that she somehow knew that Mitchell would propose to her with their families together, but she never thought he would propose in this way.

“This is the most perfect compromise I could have imagined,” said the composer.

The “Telling all my secrets” singer revealed that it was an emotional moment for both of them and that he was nervous before asking the question. However, when he opened it, both of them couldn’t help but cry with joy.

The couple often share photos on Instagram and fans were definitely hoping they would tie the knot. Mitchell also wrote a song about Meghan, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” explaining that he already loves her so much that she can’t be anymore.
