Madonna has launched her NFT collection in collaboration with Beeple

On May 9, 2022, Madonna released a rare limited edition NFT collection representing herself. A digitized version of the singer giving birth to a tree and other living organisms is featured in the “Mother of Creation” collection.

The “Queen of Pop” expressed her delight at the opportunity to present her vision through the videos in an official statement. He also mentioned that the NFTs were made for a good cause, benefiting “mothers and children who are in the most desperate need right now.”

A look at videos from Madonna’s NFT collection
The “Mother of Creation” is the title of Madonna’s NFT collection, which is divided into three videos. The collective seeks to convey a message of life and hope, according to the official website:
“You never know where life may take you, and you should never lose hope.”
The video for “Mother of Nature” is her first and features an animated depiction of the pop singer sitting inside an empty laboratory. She carries a huge tree with bark, branches, vines, moss, and flowers. The video description says:
“In a lifeless laboratory setting, an opening gives way to a branch that evolves into a full-fledged tree.”

Meanwhile, in the background, the singer offers a voiceover in which she compares her path as a woman to that of a tree:
“My journey as a woman is similar to that of a tree.” Starting with a small seed and pushing against the resistance of the Earth.
Madonna is seen lying on top of an old vehicle with butterflies coming out of her body in the second video, called “Mother of Evolution.” In the background of the video, the singer can be heard repeating the lyrics of her song Justify My Love. “I’m not interested in being your mother.” I don’t want to be your sister either. All I want to do is be your lover. I would like to be your son. “We can take off.”

The NFT tried to show butterflies as a symbol of optimism.
“Mother of Technology” is the third video in the collection. It shows the singer lounging in the woods with metal centipedes coming out of her frame. According to the description, the centipedes in the film represent technology and demonstrate its evolution and consequences:
“The centipede represents technology as a source of life and a source of danger, as well as the contrast of dark and light. In the real, natural, physical world, technology continues to progress; we can do what we want, but there are consequences. “In the end, nature will triumph.”
Madonna can then be heard reciting lines from a Rumi poem in the background of the third clip:
“I saw myself as the origin of all things.” I was there from the beginning, and I was the loving spirit.
All three NFT movies reportedly took almost a year to develop. It featured 3D scans of the Papa Don’t Preach singer. SuperRare will hold an auction for the artwork. Proceeds from the sale will go to charities including Voices of Children Foundation, City of Joy Foundation and Black Mama’s Bail Out.
Moonpay, a cryptocurrency company that helped with the initiative, would also donate $100,000 to each charity. Madonna also announced her third remix album, “Finally Enough Love”. It would be released as a 16-track edition on June 24 and a 50-track deluxe edition in August, prior to NFT’s opening.
