LOOK: King Charles’ witty response to a fan who invited him out for a beer

King Charles is currently going viral on social media for his hilariously witty response when someone asked him to go out for a beer.

Here is everything you need to know.

King Charles’s epic reaction when a fan invited him to a beer

A TikTok user recently shared a video reminding people of King Charles’ funny personality.

The clip was filmed during the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in July when he was still Prince Charles. However, the video is going viral after his royal ascension to the throne last week following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

In the 14-second video, the royals are seen waving to the crowd when a man identified as Daniel Walker says: ‘Charles, do you want to go get a beer?’

However, Charles seemed a bit confused as he said, ‘What?’

However, Walker was undeterred and repeated his unconventional request.

At this point, the prince’s eyes sparkled as he cheekily replied, “Where?”

Regardless, the unscripted moment left the crowd and the future King in laughter.

The aforementioned video has currently been seen by more than 8 million viewers with almost 3 thousand comments.

Meanwhile, Walker opened up about the hilarious exchange after it went viral.

He said: ‘People don’t see all the good things he’s done as they’re always looking for the negative, but I respect him a lot.’

He further added, “I hope he’s still up for that pint as that would be amazing.”

Fans react to King Charles’ witty exchange

Many people believe that the replica of King Charles showed that he is a man of the people rather than a “spoiled prince”. They took to social media to fawn over the viral clip.

One fan wrote: ‘The future king has time for the people.’

Also, another digital follower chimed in saying, “I love to see some humanity in it, real quick, it’s good to see.”

A new fan, on the other hand, declared: ‘He’s winning me over.’

Meanwhile, few users recalled having a similar casual exchange with the monarch.

One user noted: “Lucky enough to have met him twice and in private he’s so down to earth and funny.”

Someone else commented: ‘That’s so funny! I met him when I was 17 and asked if I could marry one of his children. He said “take your pick”.

While a different user compared her response to the late queen’s legendary wit, saying, “She has the same sense of humor as her mother.”
