Lizzo interrupted Peloton’s live class, which could have caused an app crash

Lizzo surprised her fans by going to a live Peloton class in New York City in the wake of her new album, Special.
Here is everything you need to know.
Lizzo crashed a live Peloton Ride
Lizzo surprised a group of lucky cyclists at the Peloton studio in New York on Friday, July 15, when she strutted her live class.
The class was led by instructors Robin Arzón and Jess Sims with multiple attendees. As the fitness enthusiasts prepared for their session, the Grammy-winning singer walked into the class leaving everyone in awe.
The 34-year-old diva entered the studio to perform her platinum-certified single Good as Hell, which left the crowd roaring.
The singer went on a 30-minute two-for-one trip and delivered several of her old and new hits.
During the show, Lizzo’s backup singers also joined her as they performed their choreography in their all-pink Yitty tracksuits.
Also, to no one’s surprise, the Juice singer’s impromptu performance caused the Peloton app to crash.
Fans Believe Lizzo’s Appearance Caused Peloton’s App Outage
Following Lizzo’s surprise performance, many Peloton users had trouble connecting to their classes on Friday.
One user tweeted: ‘OMG I was wondering what happened to my Peloton and had to go to Twitter to find out. The support does not answer!.’
Another said: ‘So many people logged in for a @lizzo ride on Peloton the entire platform crashed. This is the collective strength of women who no longer have time for conventional ideas of fitness and beauty. It’s officially thirty gross!
Additionally, Peloton responded to the outage issue in a tweet saying, “We are so sorry we are down at this time.” I know, I can’t wait to take Lizzo’s classes either.’
Although they did not reveal the real reason behind the app outage.
Peloton also shared a clip of Lizzo with her backup dancers and joked with a message: ‘Sorry honey we broke the internet (with @lizzo), we’ll let you know as soon as we’re back and class is available. .’
Seems @lizzo surprised a Peloton class live in the studio in New York this afternoon and when enough people found out she was there, the Peloton system went down temporarily. I was told that everything should be back up and running now and Lizzo’s class can be streamed on demand. $pton
