Kevin Feige teases Harry Styles’ return as Eros in the MCU

Singer Harry Styles could soon return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Harry Styles returns as Eros in the MCU
The MCU’s 2021 movie Eternals had one of the wildest reveals when Harry Styles appeared as the character Eros, aka Starfox, in the film’s post-credits scene.
Eternals also starred Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, and Angelina Jolie.
One of the most interesting facts about artist Watermelon Sugar’s character is that he is the brother of the supervillain Thanos. In the short clip, he is joined by a small furry CGI character named Pip The Troll (voiced by Patton Oswalt).
Josh Horowitz for MTV New asked Kevin Feige about the former One Direction star’s future in the Marvel universe during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

He joked: “The adventures of Eros and Pip are something very exciting for us.”
The 49-year-old producer further revealed: “You’re talking about Ghost Rider, we’ve got Blade, we’ve got Doctor Strange with the supernatural angles, we’ve got street level with our Daredevil ad and of course Spider-Man and cosmic, and that’s where our friends Eros and Pip live.
Styles made his acting debut with Christopher Nolan’s war film Dunkirk in 2017. He will soon appear as the lead in Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry, Darling, which opens in theaters this year on September 23.
The As it Was singer will also star in Michael Grandage’s upcoming drama My Policeman alongside Emma Corrin. Meanwhile, Styles is currently busy with Love on Tour.
Meanwhile, Eternals director Chloé Zhao previously confirmed that Styles was the only actor she wanted to play as Eros.
Upcoming projects in MCU Phase 5 and Phase 6
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige returned to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and announced a dozen new projects they have in store for us. Marvel’s Phase 5 and Phase 6 will continue after the Infinity Saga.
