Kelsea Ballerini recently took to her TikTok to share an emotional video of herself on Saturday.

The 28-year-old country music star appears to be in tears while sitting in the bathtub. The clips come after she announced that she would be divorcing her husband of five years, Morgan Evans.

Ballerini was allegedly nude while filming herself. She only wore a heart-shaped gold charm necklace. Also, she had smudged her makeup, which hinted that she had probably shed tears.

She was lip-syncing to a complex ballad by Katie Gregson-MacLeod that recently blew up on TikTok.

Some of the lyrics read, “I’m wearing his boxers/I’m being a good wife/We won’t be together/But maybe next life.”

The heartbreak-themed anthem continues: “I need him like water / He lives in a landslide / I cry in his bathroom / He turns off the big light.” I’m being a cool girl / I keep it so tight / I take it home while / My friends have a good night.’

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans’ relationship

Kelsea Ballerini began dating Australian country music singer-songwriter Morgan Evans in March 2016. The couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day of the same year.

They officially married a year later, in December 2017, in a ceremony held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Regardless, Ballerini revealed on August 29, 2022, that she filed for divorce on her Instagram story.

The Hole in the Bottle hitmaker wrote: ‘Friends, I have always done my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way. At the same time protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold.

She further stated, “This is now public record so I wanted you to know from me directly that I am going through a divorce.”

Furthermore, Ballerini said: “This profoundly difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth and effort that has finally come to an end. Words are hard to find here… but I am extremely grateful for the years of marriage to Morgan and hopeful for the seasons to come.”

Morgan, for her part, mentioned that she was “very sad” to part with Ballerini.
