Kanye West has officially removed Nicki Minaj from his friends list after she unfollowed the Queen rapper on Instagram.

Nicki Minaj calls Kanye West a ‘clown’ on stage
Nicki Minaj was one of the main headliners at the 2022 Essence Culture Festival held in New Orleans.
Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, while performing at the live event, the fierce rapper took a dig at Kanye West when he opted not to sing his verses from the Monster single. It was a collaborative project with West, who changed his name to Ye, in 2010.
Also, according to HipHopDX, after telling the emcee to pull the plug on the song, Minaj went on to call Ye a ‘clown’.
He reportedly told the crowd, “I’m ‘Monster’-ed out, and we don’t fuck with clowns.”
It’s unclear why Minaj is suddenly throwing punches at the Jesus Is King artist. However, some fans believe that the feud between the rappers may have started a couple of years ago.
According to speculation, Minaj bears a grudge against Ye for taking the verses from her in their joint collaboration titled New Body which never came out. Also, instead of releasing his previously unreleased track with Minaj, the 45-year-old musician released Jesus Is King in 2019.
While speaking to The Shade Room in an interview, the Anaconda singer revealed that they “didn’t agree”.
He also confirmed that West wanted to change his verses, ‘four times to fit where [West] was creatively and spiritually, only to then go online a few months later to see [West] at Drink Champs.
On the other hand, fans noticed that Minaj called Ye the same day she announced the new Hot Sh*t single featuring Cardi B and Lil Durk.
