Jojo Siwa’s recent TikTok has been causing an internet sensation after he crowned Candace Cameron Bure the ‘rudeest celebrity’ he has ever met.

Regardless, the Dance Moms alum recently sat down for an interview with Page Six on Tuesday.

During the interview, the 19-year-old dancer gave her side of the story about her actions.

She said: ‘You know, I had a difficult experience when I was little. I was 11 years old, a big fan, and I wanted to take a picture with her, and it was not a good time for her.

The YouTuber then added that while the interaction wasn’t memorable, it did reflect on the former Fuller House star’s character.

She continued: ‘I will say that because I had a bad experience, that doesn’t mean that she is a horrible person. I think it was an inconvenient moment for her, and my little 11-year-old me was so excited and so excited, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst human in the world. It was just, you know, it was a rough experience for me.

Candace Cameron Bure apologizes to JoJo Siwa

Candace Cameron Bure responded to JoJo Siwa’s accusations by sharing a video on Instagram.

In the clip, the 46-year-old claimed she was “shocked” by Siwa’s accusations and “had no idea where she was coming from.”

In addition, Cameron Bure mentioned that he had communicated privately with the Dancing with the Stars contestant.

He added: “Even a 10-second trending TikTok video can cause harm because our words matter and our actions matter.”

Bure further said that Siwa reminded him of the incident during their talk.

The Full House actress said: ‘[Siwa] he said: “I met you at the Fuller House premiere and I was 11, and we were all on the red carpet. I walked up to you and said, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ and you told me ‘not right now’. And then you proceeded to do what you were doing and take photos with other people on the red carpet.”

He further noted, “I somehow broke your 11-year-old heart.” I didn’t take a picture with you. Yuck! I feel terrible Jojo, I’m so sorry.
