‘Let’s Go Brandon’ prank call explained
During a traditional Christmas event at the White House on December 24, the host, Joe and Jill Biden were answering phone calls with children who were waiting for Santa to meet on Christmas Eve.
During one of the phone calls, the situation spiraled out of control after a father named Jared Schmeck used a vulgar slogan against Biden while communicating with the host about the US president. This statement is confirmed by sources.
The caller said “come on, Brandon” to the US president right after wishing them a Merry Christmas. Then the statement “come on Brandon” became a trending internet meme. Although the conversation was broadcast live, Biden did not notice the insult, so he responded by saying “come on, Brandon, I agree” before the call was disconnected.
Posting an Instagram video, @davidjharrisjr supported that controversial situation where he wrote as a caption: “Someone please tag whoever this guy is! I would love to have you on my show! FREE Let’s Go Brandon ornament you can hang all year long with any purchase in my store! Select the ornament and it’s free at checkout!”

Amanda Schmeck also shared the same video on her Instagram page with the caption, “My husband may or may not have told Joe and Jill Biden ‘let’s go Brandon’ over the phone,” along with two emojis of laughing and crying faces.
Updates after the prank
Jared Schmeck claimed, after making the joke, that he was just kidding and that he had no intention of disrespecting the president or any other member of that show.
He said: “At the end of the day, I have nothing against Mr. Biden, but I am frustrated because I think he may be doing a better job.”
His wife has now removed the video due to the numerous negative responses she received after posting it.
