MAMA, the biggest Asian music awards show of the year returns in 2021. This year’s theme is “Make Some Noise”, Mnet Asian Music Awards in short MAMA is back in town. Let’s see what awaits us later!

The Mnet Asian Music Awards are held annually by an entertainment company known as CJ E&M. The theme of the MNET Asian Music Award show is “Make Some Noise”. MAMA2021 aims to bring together all k-pop fans from around the world through this platform.

Opening and Line-up

MAMA 2021 will have a legendary opening performance with K-pop artists including TXT’s Yeonjun, ENHYPEN’s Heeseung, Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, ATEEZ’s Wooyoung, ITZY’s Yeji, Aespa’s Karina.

This collaboration will be called ‘BlooM the Sound’.

The lineup includes Aespa, ATEEZ, Brave Girls, ENHYPEN, INI, ITZY, JO1, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, Stray Kids, and TXT, who will set the stage on fire.

Along with K-pop group stages, MAMA 2021 will witness Wanna One’s historic reunion.

In addition to the above, Ed Sheeran and crews from the popular dance reality show “Street Woman Fighter” will be holding special performances this year.

Will BTS attend the 2021 MAMA?

This year, the group will not be able to attend MAMA 2021 due to the latest change in the Korean government’s quarantine rule. Some of the group members are on extended vacation periods, while others who have returned to Korea are in quarantine.
