“Hollywood is boycotting me,” says Johnny Depp in his first interview since losing libel case

Johnny Depp admits he feels Hollywood is boycotting him because his latest movie, Minamata, hasn’t been released in the US yet.

While interviewing The Sunday Times, Johnny Depp said that he had endured a surreal 5-year time being accused by Amber Heard. Johnny addressed his status and position in the Hollywood industry, calling it the “absurdity of media math.” Depp has filed a lawsuit against Heard that cost him $50 million. Heard accused Depp of domestic abuse and filed a case in 2018. The trial will take place next April. Depp has lost all legal efforts to appeal the verdict.

A 2018 article referred to Depp as a “wife beater.” Johnny cannot speak publicly about his case or his relationship with Amber Heard. Johnny’s Minamata backfired and this upset the actor. Johnny Depp has blamed his personal problems for the film’s bad verdict. The role of Johnny is that of W Eugene Smith, an American photojournalist, out to expose the impact of mercury poisoning in Japan in the 1970s.

Minamata opened on Friday in the UK and Ireland, but The US the release has yet to be announced. The creators of the Fantastic Beasts franchise forced Depp to leave the franchise after he failed in his liberal case. Mads Mikkelsen has replaced Depp as the franchise’s dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Johnny Depp still has a huge fan on the left, who supports him no matter what. The San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain will present an Award for Life to Johnny Depp. The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will also celebrate Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean.

The actor thanked the support of his loyal fans. The judges have told Johnny to determine the donations made to the ACLU by Amber Heard of $7,000,000 that he took from Depp. Heard, 35, has announced that she is now the mother of a girl. Her daughter’s name is Oonagh Paige. Amber is set to play the role of Mera in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” which will appear on screen in 2022.
