GOT7 to host 2022 Fancon ‘Homecoming with iGOT7’ one day before releasing GOT7 EP
South Korean boy band GOT7 is scheduled to hold their comeback concert later this month in anticipation of their upcoming reunion.
The K-pop group consists of seven members, namely Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom.
The upcoming event is titled GOT7 2022 Fancon ‘Homecoming with iGOT7’.
The concert is a special treat for fans as it will mark the group’s first fan event in over a year after The Winter We Loved, the sixth anniversary fancon that was held online in December 2020.

GOT7 2022 Fancon ‘Homecoming with iGOT7’ is scheduled for two days on May 21 and May 22 respectively.
The event will be held at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul.
Both dates will include offline events. However, keeping their international fans in mind, the group announced that they will also broadcast the second of their concert online.

Also, after wrapping up their two-day fancon, the septet will release their much-anticipated EP on May 23 at 6 p.m. KST or 2:30 p.m. IST. The new self-titled mini-album is called GOT7.
Earlier this month on May 9, the group confirmed their full group reunion. The day marked the anniversary of their fandom Ahgase, short for ‘I GOT 7’.

The concert is a long-awaited convention for fans as it will mark the boys’ comeback from their nearly 2-year hiatus.
Tickets for the fancon will reportedly go on sale starting May 13 at 5 p.m. KST or 4 a.m. ET.

The upcoming album will be the first to be released by GOT7 since they ended their contract with JYP Entertainment in January 2021.
Shortly after his departure, GOT7 released the single ‘Encore’ last February. It was preceded by their fourth studio album ‘Breath of Love: Last Piece’ released in November 2020.
In the last year, members of the Koran band have signed with different agencies. They featured solo careers in both music and acting.
