Google Drive offline mode: Here’s all about Google’s new “offline” access feature

Access to Google Drive “offline”: Google Drive is a file storage application from Google. It is used to store files in the cloud. It comprises Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides. Google Drive was launched on April 24, 2014. Files edited through Google Docs are also saved to Google Drive. It usually offers 15 GB of free storage. There is also a facility for privacy settings provided to users. As of 2018, there are over a billion users of the app. As of 2017, there are more than two billion files stored. This data shows the popularity of the application among the public. Recently, it has come up with a new feature. Google Drive will now support offline viewing of all types of files. The company announced this through its post recently. PDFs, files and images can now be accessed offline. Google also tested this feature in 2019. Back then, users could mark non-Google file types to be taken offline while using Google Drive on the web. After testing it for years, it would now be available to everyone.
How to get access to Google’s “offline” access feature:-
First of all, install Google Drive on devices, either on Mac or Windows. Then enable offline access mode in drive settings. After completing it, an offline switch would be available. Then right click on it. By following these steps, one can access their files offline.

This feature is available to all Google customers, as well as cloud identity member users, whether they are premium or free users. One can buy additional data. Data can also be backed up to Google Drive. To buy storage space, one has to pay. 100 GB storage data is available for Rs. 130 per month. There are also additional plans. For 2TB of storage, one has to pay Rs. 650 per month. Also for 200 GB, one has to pay Rs. 200 per month. There are many plans available to users. Chrome OS
users can now also choose Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The feature is used by both personal and business accounts. In an office setting, administrators must manually enable offline access for their domain.
Google is rolling out a new “Offline” sign-in capability. It would arrive for everyone on September 14. According to Android Central, it would be available to everyone next week. Reports said that the feature came out of beta.
