Tammy Sytch, also known as “Sunny” in the ring, is in jail for a tragic car accident last month that investigators believe was caused by being drunk.
Tammy Sytch: who is she?
Tamara Lynn Sytch, commonly known by her ring name Sunny, is a former professional wrestler, valet, ring announcer, and adult entertainer from the United States. During the 1990s, Tammy Sytch was very successful as Sunny in the World Wrestling Federation and is considered to be the first WWF Diva. She is in jail for a tragic vehicular collision last month that investigators believe was caused by her drunken state.

When was Tammy Sytch arrested?
The former WWE star was taken into custody Friday night and booked into the Volusia County Jail, where he was charged with a variety of charges, the most serious of which was manslaughter under the influence of alcohol. She was also contacted for 8 prior offenses, most of which were DUI related.
One of the charges she was arrested for is driving with a suspended/revoked license and inflicting serious bodily harm and/or death as a result. Bail for her is set at more than $220,000 total. She’ll recall that all of this stems from the terrible tragedy that police believe Tammy Sytch caused in late March, though it’s unclear why she’s only being arrested now, more than a month later.

How did the incident occur?
In any case… the narrative is harrowing. According to an acquired traffic collision record, Tammy Sytch was speeding down a highway when she rear-ended another car on the highway that was stopped for a traffic light. The driver was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. Julian Lasseter, 75, is said to be that victim. If she is found guilty on these additional charges, Tammy Sytch faces a hefty prison term. Prior to this, the former wrestler was arrested at least six times for drinking and driving.
