Erika Jayne Named in $50 Million Extortion Lawsuit

Erika Jayne was greeted with a rude surprise on Friday night when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport from her luxurious trip to Hawaii.

Jayne rocked a casual airport look for her return to Los Angeles as she wore white sweatpants with a matching sweatshirt.

However, the Pretty Mess singer was approached by an unidentified woman as she waited in the baggage claim area. The woman handed Jayne two stacks of papers that likely contained court documents.

The woman in the video was reportedly heard saying: ‘I just wanted to give you these documents. This is a summons and complaint to serve you.

Jayne is charged with nine counts including extortion, illegal business practice and deception, and more in her legal drama involving ex-husband Tom Girardi.

The lawsuit filed by Edelson PC claims the 50-year-old actress and Girardi “routinely misappropriated client settlement money to project an image of wealth and prop up a made-for-reality television lifestyle.”

In addition, they alleged that Jayne’s shell corporation, the EJ Global company, “was created for the purpose of funneling money from Girardi Keese to benefit Erika.”

The model has been further labeled a ‘leader’ for ‘selling the world (including unsuspecting customers) that Girardi Keese was a hit’.

Also, this is not the first time that Edelson PC has gone after Jayne. The law firm filed a racketeering lawsuit against her in April 2022. However, Jayne was acquitted of the charges in that lawsuit.
