Elon Musk denies having an affair with the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin

Elon Musk has become involved in another controversy after it was reported that he is having an extramarital affair with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan.

Regardless, the billionaire took to Twitter to respond to a Wall Street Journal post recounting the sordid story.

The Space X CEO, 51, said: ‘This is a total of bs. Sergey and I are friends and we were at a party together last night! I have only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.

He immediately responded in a follow-up tweet that read, “Haven’t even had sex in a long time (sigh).”

Musk’s responses come after reports claimed he knelt in front of Brin and begged for forgiveness at a party earlier this year after the Google founder learned of the Tesla founder’s affair with his wife.

Furthermore, the article also prompted Brin to file for divorce and ended her long friendship with Musk due to the incident.

Not only that, but Brin also told his advisers to liquidate their shares in Musk’s business.

However, Musk said in a separate tweet, ‘WSJ [Wall Street Journal] he’s executed so many bs hits on me and Tesla that I’ve lost count.

It’s embarrassing for them, frankly.

Furthermore, he slammed the exit shut and urged his supporters to do the same.

Musk wrote: ‘The WSJ is supposed to have a high standard for journalism and right now they are sub-tabloids. The WSJ should publish stories that really matter to its readers and have a solid factual basis, not random third-party rumors.’

Sergey Brin filed for divorce

According to The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk was involved in a brief fling with attorney Nicole Shanahan at Art Basel in Miami last year in December.

The media outlet further alleged that shortly after the multi-star event, Sergey Brin filed for divorce in January.

Brin listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, however, The Wall Street Journal says otherwise.

The article also mentioned that Brin and Shanahan were facing some marital problems in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was reported that the former couple used to constantly argue over the custody of their four-year-old daughter.
