Drake Delivers Hilarious Monologue at Nike Headquarters
Drake recently gave a speech at the Nike Maxim Awards, where he did a handful of digs at New Balance, Tyga, and Kanye West.

Drake joked about New Balance at the Nike Maxim Awards
Drake is many things, however being a comedian might not be his forte.
The Boy took to the stage at Nike headquarters on Thursday, September 8 as host of the Nike Maxim Awards. The event was held in Beaverton, Oregon.
However, it seems his offhand comment about Nike’s age didn’t get the laughs it deserved.
Drake told the crowd, “Nike is 50 years old. Nike is so old, it wears New Balance.”
The audience, on the other hand, reacted with groans and minimal response.
However, Drake was undeterred when he tried to pull another prank.
He mentioned: ‘I’m going to have a drink real quick.’
The 35-year-old rap star continued, “Nike is turning 50, which means LeBron is going to try and come and get you to play for the Lakers this year.”
He further added, “This is the year you’ll walk into a restaurant and see Nike drinking red wine with Jared Dudley and Carmelo Anthony.”
Other than that, Drake made some light-hearted jokes about the supply chain problem at Nike.

Drake mocks Tyga during his monologue
During his speech at the Nike Maxim Awards, Drake threw a few jokes at several high-profile names, including Adidas and Kanye West.
However, fans were quick to notice that he also took a swing at Tyga during his speech.
The Canadian rapper joked: ‘When you put things in perspective. Adidas has Kanye, I think.
In addition, the statement managed to start the laughter of the public attending the massive gala.
However, Drake continued: “Nike, we have LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis [Antetokounmpo], Michael Jordan. The greatest creative mind of all time, Virgil Abloh, rest in peace. We have Cristiano Ronaldo.
He went on to say: ‘We have Serena Williams. we have tiger [Woods]. And I’m pretty sure Reebok has Tyga, so we’re good.”
If you didn’t know, the One Dance hitmaker has a longstanding feud with Tyga. It dates back to an interview with the 32-year-old rapper in 2014.
The Taste singer said at the time: ‘I don’t like Drake as a person. He is false to me.
In addition, he added: “They forced us to be together and it was as if we were forcing relationships.”
