Doja Cat is currently busy working on her new untitled album. She recently pranked her fans by baffling them about the gender of her latest project.

Here is everything you need to know.

Doja Cat Trolls Fans About The Genre Of Her New Album

Doja Cat shared a series of messages on Twitter on Tuesday night, September 20, in which she confused her fans about an update on her new album.

The discussion came after Doja Cat gave a curious response when she sat down with CR Fashion Book on September 13.

During the interview, rapper Kiss Me More was asked about her next project. She responded by saying that she will have a kind of 90’s German rave vibe.

However, in her recent tweets, Doja Cat set the record straight by revealing: ‘I’m not doing a German rave culture album guys. I was making a joke of the outlet that interviewed me about it. I’m doing an R&B Straight R&B album with no rap at all.

However, a few moments later, he once again took to the social media platform to share his thoughts.

Additionally, she wrote: ‘Everyone, I was lying. I’m doing an experimental jazz album.

Also, in a follow-up message, he said, ‘jk its r&b’.

She continued: ‘I’m going to rap about it though stg. However, there will only be one rap verse and it will be 8 bars.

Doja Cat then went on to write a couple more tweets before wrapping up the joke by sharing the truth about her new project.

According to her messages, the 26-year-old artist is working on a rock album that will include ’emo jams’. She also mentioned that the album is titled ‘Rock Out Volume 1 The Abyss 5000’.

Doja Cat lashed out at fans who don’t consider her a rapper

Doja Cat has been feuding with some of her fans for quite some time. She is not considered a rapper as she fuses a lot of R&B into her projects.

However, it seems the California native got fed up when she responded last December during an interview with Rolling Stone.

She said, ‘Anyone who says I’m not a rapper is denying it.’

Doja Cat then added, “They don’t know what they’re talking about.”

Meanwhile, the Grammy Award-winning artist is nominated for three categories at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards.
