Following Janet Jackson’s latest late-night show, Tyra Banks has angered many Dancing With The Stars fans.

On Monday’s broadcast (November 8), the host appeared dressed as Janet, and Janet joined her for a video call. Tyra praised the artist and reminisced about their wonderful times together during the episode.

Fans, on the other hand, were upset by the duo’s exchange, with many expressing their displeasure with Tyra in particular.

Tyra, 47, dressed as Janet Jackson for an episode called “Janet Jackson Night.” The Rhythm Nation singer joined the show’s host for a section where they discussed Janet’s legendary career and friendship.

Janet even told the DTWS host that gushing about the musician “embarrassed” her.

“I remember visiting your shows and seeing you on stage,” Tyra Banks said after praising the singer’s creativity. Janet used to be a very dynamic artist, according to the host. “And then you said, ‘Okay, Tyra, let’s go get something to eat,'” she says. Tyra Banks continues, replicating the singer’s genuine tone and voice. “And I was like, ‘wait, they’re like two people, they talk about it,'” the host continues.

“I don’t know, you’re humiliating me,” says 55-year-old Janet, blushing.
