Just a week later, his dance partner, Cheryl Burke, was also diagnosed with the virus. Cody Rigsby, who has already been vaccinated, has tested positive for the 2nd time.

I’ll take a break in the next few days. I appreciate all your support, and I’ll be back as soon as I’m ready.
Additionally, Rigsby described his struggles in a clip that accompanied the article.
He said: “I tested positive for covid for the second time in the year.” “Currently, I have fairly mild symptoms – heaviness, a little bit of a headache, cough – but that’s like day and night compared to when I had Covid earlier this year, so it must have been the vaccination and running of the resistance. As a result, we are very grateful. We are currently struggling to find out what will happen to me in Dancing with the Stars. So please bear with us until we figure this out.”

A DWTS representative declined to answer questions beyond directing reporters to the Bigsby footage.
Rigsby was supposed to have a replacement partner for the Oct. 4 show after Burke forced himself into self-isolation this week. Surely that will not happen. Cody Rigsby and Burke were absent from the dance floor on the September 27 show, although they were still in the game. They were graded on their salsa training performances. Which received 24 of a potential 40 points.

Judge Len Goodman addressed Burke and Cody Rigsby: “I pray for a really full and speedy recovery! “That had a lot of glitz and glamour, as well as a lot of dancing. It was well elaborated and well danced. You did an excellent job.”
“That was extremely, quite outstanding for a practice,” Judge Derek Hough said.
Burke said that she had been properly vaccinated with the vaccine. And she felt really bad for disturbing her dance partner in such a way. Instagram clip posted Sunday night.
“All I hope is that I haven’t spread it.” Burke, 37, added. “And for those who don’t think Covid is a genuine thing, man, he’s serious.”
