DaBaby is set to release his fourth studio album Baby on Baby 2 on Friday, September 23. The Long Playing album consists of fourteen new songs. However, among them is a song titled Boogeyman, which has become a hot topic on social media.

In the song, the controversial rapper from North Carolina talks about his sexual encounter with Megan Thee Stallion.

He sings: “You play me, that shit was childish / The day before she said Tory Lanez shot her, I was fucking with Megan Thee Stallion.”

Jonathan Lyndale Kirk acknowledged that DaBaby was referring to the July 2020 incident in which the 27-year-old singer accused Tory Lanez of shooting him.

DaBaby sings about the 2021 Twitter war with Pardison Fontaine

DaBaby took a dig at Megan Thee Stallion’s boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine, in the second part of Boogeyman.

He raps: ‘Waited to say that shit on my next album / Hit it the day before too / But I kept it up, player, say nothing about it / Had her pretty boy, boyfriend tweeting at me, ready to die ’bout the bitch like a coward’.

He further said: ‘I told ’em ni**as don’t play, now they gotta handle me / I pushed the bear m**afu**in, I’m an animal.’

The 30-year-old rapper is most likely addressing the Twitter back-and-forth he had with Fontaine last year.

Also, the drama allegedly started when DaBaby reposted a joke about Tory Lanez shooting the Savage singer. He later went on to appear on a song titled Skat with Tory.

Later, shortly after DaBaby exchanged photos with Fontaine on social media.

In one of his tweets, Fontaine wrote: ‘You blacks are cheesy. many of you women is cheesy. Any nigga that shoots a woman is a fag

He continued: ‘Any ni**a who sides with him, approves of him, affiliates with himself and side with that kind of behavior is a bit**. Any woman who supports him for whatever reason is fucking sad, bitter, or confused.”

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion accused the Bop singer of defending her in private but not in public.
