Crowd of Spectators at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Fest: Eight Dead, Hundreds Injured

What happened in Astroworld?
A rush of people occurred around 9:15 pm in the middle of Travis Scott’s Astroworld presentation. Resulting in eight deaths and around 300 people injured.
Houston Fire Chief Samuel Pena explained, “The crowd started to compress towards the front of the stage, and that caused some panic and started to cause some injuries.”
“People started falling over, losing consciousness and creating additional panic,” he continued.

After the unfortunate catastrophe, the second day of the Astroworld concert did not take place.
In 2020, at NRG Park in Texas, the festival was held this year after being postponed. From the COVID-19 pandemic, and for Saturday night it has been rescheduled.
Eight dead and more than a hundred wounded
The fire chief went into more detail about the accidents at the event and the deaths that occurred, in a statement.
“We have at least eight confirmed deaths tonight … and we had dozens of people who were injured here at this event,” he said.

He confirmed that 17 people had been sent to local hospitals. 11 of the 17 people went into cardiac arrest.
NRG Park also has a hospital where people with minor cuts and bruises can be treated.
Also, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, according to a source, were at the festival on Friday night but were unharmed.
