Courtney Stodden Slams Bethenny Frankel Over Kardashians Comment

Courtney Stodden took to her Instagram account to call Bethenny Frankel on Friday, September 2.

She wrote: ‘How are you @bethennyfrankel to the girls/women when you made me feel so mocked on your show when I was 19?’

Stodden was most likely referring to the time Frankel “mockingly” interviewed her on his talk show in 2013.

During the interview, Frankel told a teenage Stodden, “You look very promiscuous and it seems like the next step should be to make a porn video.” If this is the way you are promoting yourself.

Meanwhile, Stodden continued in the post: “I canceled all my other interviews in New York and immediately returned to Los Angeles in tears. She didn’t try to help me, she allowed her audience members to laugh at me. It hurt me deeply.

She continued: ‘That also causes insecurities and depression which adds to my own eating disorder. I don’t know, it’s just hypocritical.

Also, Stodden’s message comes in response to Frankel’s recent interview with TMZ.

During the interview, the 51-year-old TV personality mentioned that the post shared by the Kardashian sisters on social media “wasn’t fair to women who are just trying to get by.”

In addition, he labeled them as ‘irresponsible’ and ‘reckless’.

Bethenny Frankel reacts when Courtney Stodden calls her out

Bethenny Frankel sent a direct message to Courtney Stodden on Instagram after the post calling her out.

The 28-year-old media personality, on the other hand, shared the screenshot of the text with her 322k followers on the social media platform.

In the message, it seemed that Frankel had no problem with what she said. She wrote, ‘unfortunately the way we present ourselves is part of our branding and marketing. You were certainly promoting yourself differently than you do now, which seems to be working for you.’

She further said: ‘If anything I said upset you or stuck with you, I’m sorry. Perhaps our conversation contributed to the positive path she embarked on.’

However, Stodden suspects that Frankel’s message is not genuine.

She captioned the screenshot with, ‘She’s hunting women left and right. That conversation helped fan the flames of public and internet fodder regarding my personal life. No @bethennyfrankel you don’t deserve credit for my healing process!’
