Chucky Thompson, legendary hip-hop producer, dies at 53

Chucky Thompson was born in Washington, DC on July 12, 1968. His real name is Carl E. “Chucky Thompson” and he created the Hip Hop, R&B genre of music. Carl was one of the first members of bad boy entertainmentIt’s “Hitmen”.
Hitmen was a producer through the 1990s, his partners included Sean Combs, and they worked for big names like The Notorious BIG and Faith Evans and Nas. He was active from 1991 to 2021, until the day of his death.

Tamar Juda, Thompson’s publicist, confirmed that Carl E. “Chucky Thompson” is dead. The cause of death is still unknown as Juda did not say anything. “It is with a heavy heart that I can confirm the passing of Chucky Thompson,” she wrote. “To anyone in his orbit, they know how generous he was with his energy, creativity and love. Both the music industry and the world have lost a titan.”
