Chloë Grace Moretz opened up about the viral meme during an interview with Hunger magazine. It was published on September 20.
She revealed, “Everyone was making fun of my body and I mentioned it to someone and they were like, ‘Oh shut up, it’s funny.'”
Additionally, the 500 Days of Summer actress mentioned, “I just remember sitting there and thinking, my body is being used as a joke and it’s something I can’t change about who I am.” She is posting all over Instagram.
She continued: ‘It was something as benign as walking into a hotel with leftovers. And to this day, when I see that meme, it’s a very hard thing for me to get over.
Additionally, the 25-year-old star stated, “It took a layer of something I used to enjoy, which was dressing up and going on a rug and taking a picture, and it made me feel very self-conscious.”
