Cardi B recently revealed the artwork she got tattooed on her face for the first time.

Cardi B reveals the tattoo on her face
Cardi B took to Instagram Live on Saturday, September 10, to show off the new ink she’s done.
The Bodak Yellow rapper penned her son’s name, Wave. He is colored in light red cursive on the side of his face. In addition, her new additions also include her daughter’s name, Kulture. He is inked in a similar style but with a darker shade on his upper arm.
During the live speech, Cardi B brought the camera up to her new tattoos as she told the audience, ‘You guys want me to be so ugly, but I’m not.’

She further added: ‘And this without a filter, bitch […] I got my son’s name tattooed on me because I love him. And I got my daughter’s name tattooed on me.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper shared that she wants to get a face tattoo a few times earlier this year.
He wrote in a tweet in January 2022: “Random but…I’m 1% close to getting my son’s name tattooed on my face…I really want to!”

Additionally, the I Like It rapper said in a follow-up message at the time, “I want mine on my jawline.”

Other artists who have tattoos on their faces
Cardi B joins the ever-growing list of artists who have gotten face tattoos, which also includes Post Malone and Drake.
The OVO boss shared in August that he has a new tattoo which is below his left eye. The 35-year-old singer later confirmed in an Instagram post that the artwork consisted of the initials of her mother’s name, Sandra Graham.

Meanwhile, Post Malone already sports multiple tattoos on his face. However, he inked them for different reasons.
The 27-year-old singer opened up about his facial tattoos during an interview with GQ magazine in 2020.
He said, ‘I’m an ugly son of a bitch. Maybe I come from a place of insecurity, where I don’t like the way I look.’
Additionally, the Congratulations hitmaker continued, “So I’m going to put something cool in there so I can look at myself and say, ‘You look cool, boy,’ and have a little self-confidence when it comes to my looks.” .’
