Bishop Nehru has taken things to a whole new level by ‘trying heroin’ in his new YouTube video.

The 25-year-old rapper posted the music video for his song ‘Heroin Addiction’ yesterday morning on May 17. He described the post with the caption that he used a narcotic in the clip.

Bishop Nehru allegedly used narcotic heroin in the music video for his new single, ‘Heroin Addiction’.

The two-minute video clip shows Nehru lighting the spoon with the alleged heroin powder. As soon as it bubbles up, the musician loads the substance into a needle and injects it into his arm.

He later suffers from the aftermath of drug abuse. He was shown vomiting several times and seemed quite disoriented.

The music video came along with a disclaimer that read: ‘This video was made specifically for artistic purposes. In the Nehruvian family we do not condone or promote the use of hard drugs.

Nehru is mostly recognized for collaborating with DJ Premier and the late MF DOOM.

The track Heroin Addiction was released to promote Nehru’s next project. The mixtape is scheduled to drop on May 27.

Netizens React To Bishop Nehru’s New Music Video On Twitter

Unsurprisingly, many netizens took to Twitter and other social media platforms to share their feelings about Bishop Nehru’s drug use for his music video.

The stunt pulled by Nehru received mixed reactions from the public.

While some of the users showed their support for the artist, many were not impressed with the visuals in the video.

Few people even accused the rapper of “chasing influence” over the recent video.

Regardless, some users were concerned about Nehru’s well-being.

The singer posted a worrying tweet on May 8. He said: ‘Sometimes I feel that the only way to achieve peace is through death’.

Who is Bishop Nehru?

Markel Ni’Jee Scott, also known as Bishop Nehru, was born on August 26, 1996. He used the name Kelz Scott until he was 13 years old to make jazz tracks and hip-hop instrumentals.

He changed his name to Kile Kanvas at age 14. Under that name, she posted his previous projects on portals like the Odd Future forum, Hypebeast, and Lookbook.nu., among many others.

He released his debut mixtape Nehruvia at the age of 16 in 2013. The record was a 13-track project and featured production from DJ Premier, Madlib, MF DOOM and more.

His collaborations include 2014’s Brilliant Youth EP with Dizzy Wright and 9th Wonder, 2014’s NehruvianDoom with MF Doom, and The Real Book, Vol. 1- with Brady Watt.
