Netizens recently ruffled Baywatch star Donna D’Errico’s feathers after she took to Instagram to share a series of her bikini photos.

The trolls come after she posted a clip of herself in an American flag-themed bikini to celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July.

D’Errico is seen flaunting her curves while striking a couple of steamy bikini poses. She is also seen playing Lee Greenwood’s rendition of God Bless The USA, playing in the background.

In response to the body shaming comments, the former Playboy model shared another photo of herself over the weekend. This time she wore a light pink two-piece bikini that showed off her toned body and legs.

She described the post with a caption that reads: “Many women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white and blue bikini because they thought I was ‘dressier than that’ and ‘too old to wear a bikini’ .and, my favorite, “desperate”.

The 54-year-old star added: ‘Let me tell you something that might surprise you. In fact, I can use and do literally anything I want. In that sense, here I am in a bikini squatting on a coffee table.

Donna D’Errico fans and their Hollywood peers immediately came to her defense against the haters.

Additionally, they flooded their comments section with love and support as they applauded D’Errico for his confidence.
