ATEEZ has just completed the European leg of their long-awaited rescheduled world tour THE FELLOWSHIP: BEGINNING OF THE END. The group of eight arrived in South Korea on May 16. However, a day later, KQ Entertainment informed fans that leader Hongjoong had contracted the COVID virus. According to the agency, ATEEZ left Amsterdam for South Korea after passing a PCR test and coming back negative.

Hongjoong is now symptom free
They explained, βA PCR test was performed as part of the quarantine protocol after member Hongjoong arrived in Korea on the 16th and tested positive on the 17th. Hongjoong now has no symptoms, but has started quarantine and treatment at home. , while the other seven members tested negative.β The company also said that all ATEEZ members had received all three doses of vaccination. They made a statement about likely close contact with the leader, but everyone donned masks. PCR tests for the remaining seven members came back negative.
According to the statement, the leader of the Hala Hala gang has ceased all operations since he has been under home quarantine. He further added that other members are in good health and continuing their regular activities. Shortly after the announcement, the leader assured his fans via text message on the fan artist platform app UNIVERSE that he was fine.
