Amber Heard’s Viral Elevator Clip With James Franco Is Shown As Evidence By Johnny Depp’s Legal Team
Amid the controversial Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation case, Depp’s legal team questioned the actress about a late-night visit from James Franco.
For those who don’t know, Heard filed for divorce from Depp just days after Franco visited the star in his penthouse in May 2016.

James Franco visited Amber Heard late at night while Johnny Depp was out of town.
In recent testimony on May 17, Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, questioned Amber Heard about her relationship with fellow actor James Franco.
Vasquez’s questions seem to imply that Heard and Franco were romantically involved with each other.
Heard and Franco have previously starred opposite each other in the 2008 comedy film Pineapple Express and later in the 2015 crime drama The Adderall Diaries.

Vasquez presented footage of the moment Franco entered the elevator in Depp’s penthouse. In the clip, Franco can be seen resting his head on Heard’s shoulder, supposedly in an affectionate gesture.
The video in question was dated May 22, 2016 after 11 p.m.

During cross-examination, Amber Heard insisted that she and James Franco were just friends and neighbors.
Later he was asked about the reason for Franco’s visit at 11 p.m.
Heard responded by saying that she was exhausted from her usual supportive network of friends. She added that she was excited to receive as much friendship as possible at the time.
Heard was soon asked why they were ‘huddled up’ on their way to the attic as seen in the CCTV clip.

She said: ‘After seeing my face, she put her head on my shoulder. She touched the side of her face to me and responded to what she saw.
In his earlier testimony, Depp already stated that he suspected Heard was having an affair with James Franco.
To the contrary, Heard in his testimony last week claimed that Depp ‘hated’ Franco.
She said: ‘He was accusing me of having a secret thing with him in the past since we did Pineapple Express together.
Heard reportedly briefly dated Franco and Elon Musk in 2017. Both names are included on Heard’s witness list, however neither of them are scheduled to take a stand and testify.
However, Heard’s sister and actress, Ellen Barkin, will testify on Heard’s behalf this week.
Johnny Depp’s team cheered and thanked him after he finished giving his testimony.
