Amber Heard’s old mugshot resurfaces online

Shortly after the mugshot of Amber Heard came to light, several netizens began to speculate about the reason for the actress’s arrest.

A group of social media users claimed that Heard was allegedly arrested due to her involvement in the car accident.

On the other hand, a Yahoo News post, which pointed to Heard’s early life, indicated that the Aquaman star lost one of his best friends in a fatal car accident when he was 16 years old.

The article further stated that Heard dropped out of high school a year after her best friend’s death. She moved to New York to pursue a modeling career. However, she started acting and later moved to Los Angeles.

Amber Heard was accused of domestic abuse in 2009

Amber Heard was reportedly arrested again in 2009. Her ex-girlfriend Tasya Van Ree accused the star of domestic abuse during their relationship.

According to a USA Today report, the former couple got into an argument at Washington’s Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

During the altercation, Heard allegedly pulled Ree and punched her in the arm. Police from the Port of Seattle soon arrived on the scene and arrested Heard on charges of fourth degree domestic violence assault.

In 2011, it was reported that authorities were asked to remove arrest information about Heard’s case.

The actress spoke out about the incident in 2016. She testified and denied the allegations of domestic abuse.

Van Ree also said the incident was “misunderstood.”

Heard has been under public scrutiny since her libel trial with Johnny Depp began in Fairfax County court early last month on April 11.

We’ll have to wait to see if Heard’s legal team will address the resurgent speculation about his juvenile arrest.

The defamation trial of Depp vs. Heard is currently suspended for a week and will continue on May 16. Heard will return to the stand to resume his testimony.
