The controversial libel trial between ex-spouses Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is a hot topic for Internet surfers.
In final court testimony on Monday, Amber Heard took the stand again to explain how she covered up bruises left by Depp’s alleged assaults.
The actress stated that she used a makeup kit to hide the marks that remained on her body.

Depp’s attorney provided photos of Heard attending various red carpet events after the times she claimed Depp hit her.
Images shown to the jury revealed no serious injuries to the Aquaman star.
However, Heard alleges that the bruises were not severe enough to be visible and were therefore easily hidden behind makeup.

Amber Heard criticized online for her alleged makeup routine
Amber Heard’s claims of using a make-up kit to cover the marks left by Johnny Depp’s assault have become the subject of conspiracy theory among Depp supporters. In addition, they had the help of the Milani cosmetics brand.
During opening arguments in the highly publicized lawsuit, Heard’s attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, held up a Milani makeup kit that told how Heard used to mix different shades to hide her marks.
Milani Cosmetics posted a video to debunk Bredehoft’s accusations. According to the video, the kit she showed the jury was released in 2017, a year after the actress filed for divorce from Depp. The video quickly went viral on the platform and was reposted many times on other social media accounts.
However, Heard addressed the speculation by saying it wasn’t ‘the exact one’ she wore during her relationship with the 58-year-old actor.
Depp filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard, while she countersued him for $100 million.
